Hello and welcome to G.R.I.T.S. Kidz Book Club – where Young Guys/Girls Reading In The South reign!
We are an online book club for kids, teens, parents and adults who work with youth, who desire to discuss and learn more about literature written for young people (with special emphasis on African American and Multicultural Literature).
I’m Marlive Harris, better known as MsGRITS, the resident librarian and moderator of all information shared by the wonderful kids of this online book club. I am a former classroom teacher and school librarian in North Texas and it is my fascination with technology, particularly the Internet, and my love of literature that led to the development of this online book club — February 1, 2001!
