About the Author
Iselyn Hamilton-Lundy is a pediatric nurse practitioner in Lakeland, Florida. She has been in nursing for twenty-six years, with the majority of her career being involved with children. She has worked with teens in many facets including the juvenile justice system. She resides in Brandon, Florida, with her two children.

Derrick Hamilton is currently incarcerated at Attica Correctional Facility and has been for more than twenty years.
